Hi, I'm Matt! My pronouns are they/he and I'm the LGBTIQA+ Greens' current Policy Officer.

I’m currently based in Harrogate, where I work as a software developer. My job as Policy Officer is, as the name suggests, to help drive policy for GPEW on LGBTIQA+ rights, and work with our membership to do so.

I've been involved in the Green Party since 2021 and I joined because of the party's understanding of justice: that we cannot achieve climate justice without social justice. Queer Liberation and tackling the climate crisis are two issues close to my heart, and ones that I've always felt the need to do my part for.
