Trade Union Liaison Officer pledge responses

"Yes to protecting trans rights in the Equality Act and to a kinder less bureaucratic process. The specifics of what the latter means though need to be spelled out, so my yes is qualified.
"I have no doubt that the GRA should be reformed but I oppose some of the reforms which might be advanced, including and proposal to bring in self-ID as sufficient grounds for obtaining a GRC."

However, I think that current practice is skewed by ideological interference that too readily affirms trans gender identities for youth.
