"I'm applying for election to the Policy Development Committee (PDC), a job l've been doing, on a co-opted basis, for about a year and a half.

The primary role of the PDC is to assist all members equally with their endeavours to update and improve our considerable body of Policies for a Sustainable Society.

The content and views expressed by the policies are for the members to decide NOT the PDC.

A secondary role is the self-critical assessment and improvement of how successfully we provide this assistance to all members through the Pre-Agenda forum, Conference and PolicyFest.

I think my visible activity in these places provides better evidence of my suitability for the role than a list of my personal beliefs.

I'd be grateful if you could publish this by way of my response to your request."
