We’ve just held a really successful Annual General Meeting at the Green Party Autumn Conference in Birmingham.

The following people have been elected
Chair: Aimee Challenor (Re-elected)
Deputy Chairs: Lee-Anne Lawrance, Ronald Stewart, and Sahra Taylor
Treasurer: Florence Scott
Secretary: Molly Arthurs (Re-elected)
We also welcome a new slate of non-portfolio officers, and thank them for volunteering with us.
Our Name
At the AGM, we held a ballot of our members on the future of our name, the options were as follows;
- LGBTIQA+ Greens
- LGBTIQ+ Greens
- Rainbow Greens
- DSGS Greens
- Queer Greens
- LGBTIQ Greens (Remain as is)
With an overwhelming 61% of first preference votes, our membership decided to change our name to; LGBTIQA+ Greens!
We have begun to update our name in the system, but it will take a while for it to propogate everywhere.
